Service Description

Gentle Yoga is for anyone who is a complete beginner and would like to start slowly, or maybe you're recovering from an injury or dealing with a health or auto immune condition like MS. In Gentle Yoga we will take time to simply focus on ourselves through breath and movement as well as essential oils, breathing practices and an introduction to meditation techniques. The class starts with standing poses, using the wall or a chair if needed, then moving to the mat on all fours, seated poses and finishing with lying on the mat. There is no need to worry about being able to get up and down from the floor - we take plenty of time with all the transitions! The class ends with a deep relaxation to allow you to soak up all the benefits of the practice. This is a 45 minute class on Friday mornings 10.45-11.30am at the Jubilee Centre in St Albans. The group will be small so that everyone can get plenty of help and attention, and modifications to the poses as and when they need them.
