Retreats

My next weekend of yoga and Pilates along with Sasha The Movement Teacher is coming up on Friday 6th - Sunday 8th October 2023 at Riversdale Lodge in Buckinghamshire and we only have a few spaces left!

​This beautiful property has been recently refurbished to five star luxury accommodation standards, with its own yoga studio, large garden and meditation pod for our early morning classes. Riversdale Lodge is near Marlow in Buckinghamshire, on the banks of the Thames. The garden leads down to a jetty so there’s also the option of wild swimming and paddle boarding if you’re interested.

Enjoy a wide variety of Yoga and Pilates

The weekend will be relaxed and informal, you can choose as many or as few classes and activities as you like. Below is the proposed itinerary. Full details of each class will be provided nearer the time.

 

Friday evening arrival from 4pm, enjoy a buffet dinner at your leisure from 6.30pm

8-9.30pm Welcome session with Pilates and wind down yoga and relaxation

Opportunity for a drink or an early night - your choice!

 

Saturday

7-8am Sunrise yoga and meditation

8am Breakfast

9.30am - Pilates / Yoga

12pm Lunch

1.30pm - Pilates / Yoga

3-5pm - Afternoon tea /  Free Time to explore, wild swimming, paddle boards etc 

5-6.30pm - Early evening class

7pm - Dinner

9.30pm - Restorative class with yoga nidra

 

Sunday

7-8am - Sunrise yoga and meditation

8am - Breakfast

9.30-11am - `Pilates / Yoga morning classes

12pm - Lunch and closing

Our caterer will serve a locally-sourced and Autumnal inspired menu all weekend. Below is a sample menu.

Friday Dinner

Pea and edamame dip served on little gem ‘boats’Butternut squash and apple soup with spiced pumpkin seed ‘topper’. Savoury courgette, feta and herb flan. Salad of green beans, charred tenderstem broccoli, mangetout. Chocolate, orange and cranberry brownie with crème fraiche and berries 

Saturday Breakfast: Fresh fruit platter,Home made granola, Greek Yogurt, Buckwheat and cinnamon ‘drop scones’, Home made plum compote and local honey

Lunch:Superfood bowl with avocado, feta , seeds/nuts and pesto dressingMiddle eastern cauliflower, green bean salad with tahini dressing, Roast squash, beetroot, sweet potato, chickpea and quinoa salad

 

Dinner: Hummus served with crackers/crudites, Moroccan veggie tagine, Herb rice pilaf, Green lentil salad, Roasted cumin and feta carrots, flatbreads/wrapsOrange almond cake with honey yogurt  

Sunday

Breakfast: Fresh fruit, Oat and chia seed, apple cinnamon Bircher muesli, Yogurt, Fruit muffins 

 

Lunch:Celeriac, orange, caraway saladBrown rice lebanese salad with haloumi, Roasted beetroot and chestnuts with tahini yogurt and herb oil

What's included

 Included in the retreat is Friday evening buffet dinner, breakfast, lunch and dinner on the Saturday and breakfast and buffet lunch on the Sunday, luxury accommodation, your choice of ten different yoga and Pilates classes taught by myself and Sasha, sunrise movement and meditation sessions and the opportunity to book a one to one with either of us as well as use of the water sports equipment.

 

The price for the full weekend is £495 per person sharing a twin or triple room.

Non-residential options: £195pp for all classes/food/activities from 7am-10pm Saturday

OR

£280pp for all classes/food/activities 4pm Friday-3pm Sunday
